I know the subject of fitting a Lemans III to the IV/V bikes was discussed a year or so ago and it sounded like it could be done but not with the III crossover. Folks seemed to think the headers from the III and IV/V were the same and the mufflers would work with different mounting plates.
The missing part for me would, apparently, be the Lemans colostomy crossover (in stainless or chrome).
Does anyone know if the crossover from another model other than the Lemans would work? I occasionally see an EV, or other, crossover for sale but wonder whether the width and pipe sizes would be compatible.
