I know this is not really very important in the big picture, but anyone know the stock front tires size?  I can read "/80-16", but not the first number.  It sure looks like about the same cross section as the 130/80-18 on the rear.  That seems pretty fat for a front tire.

It's so expensive because it has the extremely rare transverse engine.

I believe the stock front tire size for the 16-inch wheel versions of a Le Mans 1000 is 120/80-16.

Thanks LeRoy.  Wow, that's pretty chubby for a stock front tire, so I guess the one being sold isn't terribly different, if it really is a 130.

If you look at the bid history, there was a jump from 4400.00 to 10,000.00 made by a new identity bidder. I would say someone was fishing for the reserve. A bidder can make a high proxy bid like 10k, if the reserve is 5500.00, that will become his bid. If someone bids higher, his bid moves up until he hits his 10k max. Also, he can through out a big number, discover reserve and then retract his bid.
