The mythical black Daytona on Craigslist and eBay merged thread Fest

Some 15 years ago i went riding with a buddy and his Boss who owned a restaurant on Mercer Island WA ( just east of Seattle ) he wanted to stop bye his storage unit to check on a bike. He opened it and their was a perfect black Daytona. I was rather stunned. I do remember him saying it was Red and he painted it Black so as to not attract so much police attention. He was a high mileage very fast rider and eccentric personality. I would bet this is that bike.
