Looks like one to watch!  Thanks for posting!
If it's tourist season, why can't you hunt them?

But none of them were riding a serious adventure bike like a TW200 with a big gas tank.

Going Thursday night locally.

I'm sure the parking lot will rotten with shiny new Klim suits and empty Starbucks cups.

Just got home from theatre. Met some pals, had some dinner, joined a parking lot with several
dual sport cycles. Oh, and two side car setups. Took the Griso with Dart Marlin fly screen for it's first
outing, breaks wind off chest. Helmet in clean air, enjoyed it at 80 mph.
Movie had wonderful high spots but kind of slowed down toward the end. Great use of drones for spectacular scenery.
Wish I had that talent with mine.

I just got home from seeing it with my brother-in-law and riding partner. My first comment to him after it ended was... "I think they filmed this after marijuana was legalized in Colorado."
I'd much rather ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.

Unless you are looking for a new way to be bored, stay away.  I have yet to run into anyone who liked it.  A bunch of psychobabble by a guy and his wussy sons.

It would have been more interesting if they were smoking some weed. It doesn't get any less entertaining than having a puss with a lisp reading from the chronicles of narnia.

Goodness, you big bad bullies. They may have been wuss's with lisps who read from Narnia, but at least they completed their journey. A thousand miles on heavy bikes with quite a bit of rough terrain wouldn't be easy for any amateur, let alone these kids who were pretty much all new to motorcycling period. If they wanna talk about their feelings, let them. They worked their way together through broken ribs, hard falls, and soaking wet rides while you stuff your face with popcorn in the theater and then crap on the movie for being philosophical.

Some of us here might agree with their message. They're the badass ones in my book.

While the scenery was great, the film should have been called "Millinnials (sic) On Parade".
I do not recommend it.

Meanwhile Nick949 is traveling the wilds of Northern Canada on a Nuovo Falcone W/O a support truck . Everyone wants to film their lives , or blog about it . Saw something recently titled , "So and so's epic journey from Calgary to Toronto" , or something like that . Isn't that just a Tuesday for someone like the Texas Turnip , or the aforementioned Nick ?

Tough crowd.
We draw up plans, and most never fulfill them.
Unless its sticking your head in the lions mouth or a triple back flip, it's not worthwhile?
-and I believe that was one of the messages the film was trying to convey.

The problem I had with the movie was the emphasis on the message, "the story"...."the story"....."the story". I went to be entertained and enjoy a movie about adventure riding. While that was certainly a big part of it I felt the motorcycles were just a vehicle to convey their "message". If I wanted to be preached to I'd go to church or a revival. I didn't appreciate paying to hear about someone's abuse as a child or how someone's brother ruined his life by calling him shit. I guess it's my fault for not doing my homework beforehand. I could see it again to redeem myself of feeling bad about the movie. Not.

Edit: I did enjoy the scene with the tannerite explosives..... just remembered that part..... it was buried deep.

Well said, the advertising made the whole thing wreak of bait and switch tactics. One night only! selected theaters! and that dude with his horses and his child abuse, what's that got to do with ADV riding?

They briefly touched on the support staff.  If you listened carefully they had a HUGE bunch of folks to make this an Adventure (lite).  They had film crew, sound crew, Drone crew, rented 4 wheel vehicles and on the overnight stops they had a big awning set up with some pretty darn nice trucked in food.  They also had to film everything which meant doing stuff repeatedly just for the camera.  Yes, they did tackle some awesome terrain but, give me a break, 1000 miles in 8 days with the first 5 days basically on pavement.  This was a very slick ad for a bunch of advertisers with a large dose of phychobable thrown in.  Had I been sitting on the end of the row I'd have left mid way though the torment.

Chris, if scenery is what you want, let's plan a trip to Colorado and see it for real. You don't have to be a gnarly dual sport rider to enjoy the Rockies!
