Norge passenger peg lowering
« on: June 08, 2016, 02:36:42 PM »
My new long-legged girlfriend loves riding on the back of my '07 Norge, but needs another inch or so of legroom. I saw an image of lowering brackets from Germany on another forum in a google search, but can't find them on the site (mv-motorrad.de) and do not speak German...lol. If I can't find something suitable to relocate the factory pegs, I will make something myself. I do not want different pegs. Anyone have such a thing, or know the source?

I am surprised no one else has run into this? GF is only 5'-9"...her knees aren't that happy after a couple of hours, but I am making sure to stop often enough for her to stretch for now.
Anyone run into any other dropped peg sources?

Send a message to Leo on this forum.  He could probably fab something up for you.

Would something off this website work for you? http://www.whaccessories.com/Foot-Peg-Lowering-Kit-KTM-Moto-Guzzi.htm
You could also shoot the website you mentioned an email on the footpegs you heard about. They have an english version in the upper right hand corner you can click on. Here is the link to the english version. http://www.mv-motorrad.de/en/

After a second look at the German site, I found the link to custom mounts...and a price of about $200 plus shipping. The WHA set requires their pegs, which I do not want. Being a fabricator, I think I will likely end up making my own for that price...I was just being lazy, and thought the Europeans would already have something readily available, not custom.  Thanks for the replies.

Have you had a look at the knight design offering? I have a suspicion that the front pegs will fit at the rear. They just won't lock in the up position
