Mating keys to used 1200 sport dash
« on: June 12, 2016, 02:38:04 PM »
I know there is a procedure to be able to do this since there has been a bunch of used 1200 sport dashes going around....

I am in the market to buy a used dash and have both of my keys to my current dash - is there a procedure to mating the keys to the used dash for the immobolizer?

My dealer does not seem to know how to do this....

You must have the user code for the used dash for it to work.

What do you do after you have that? Once mated you can change the user code to whatever you want?

The used dash's user code will let you in, if you have it then you can change it to your own.

This is from the Sport 1200 manual:

Raymond Massey:  "No doctor, I think this calls for something special.
I think, perhaps, the Melbourne Method!".

Peter Lorre:  "Not the Melbourne Method!!  Please!!"
