HDG,

Stent technology is pretty amazing.  Get ready for big lifestyle changes that will remarkably make you more energetic, springy and generally healthy?  Keep on riding, it is the best therapy for life's frustrations.

Thanks all for the well wishes. I guess I'm still here until I can visit Lanis!

One stint put in to relieve a 90% blockage. Will treat the 70% blockage with drugs. The hard part is the low sodium diet adjustments. Never been on a diet.

Had three phone calls yesterday from friends who have over come heart issues. Guess I'm officially old now. Comparing diets, pills and recovery processes.

You've gotta play the hand you're dealt. Play smart, and you'll be fine. My advice is to keep waking up.. :)

Gary, good to hear that you're doing better.  Definitely listen to the Doc.  Adjustment to the diet and exercise.  Meds are in.  Your body needs to adjust and so does your mind.  Give it time.  The biggest adjustment is that you can eat everything but not in the quantities that you're used to.  Fortunately on the upside the medical arts have advanced to where you can survive and still ride a motorcycle.  :thumb:

Absolutely. I had major surgery a little over 3 months ago, and I'm back to riding, flying, etc.

Oi!  Six foot seven inches he is, and a giant in the sense of number of Guzzis and Guzzi miles under his belt.

Get well soon Gary, do what the therapist says, they can fix it and you'll be back on the road.  We may annoy you but we love really think a lot of you.

Lannis (not trying to recruit that kiss I'm due ....  )

Well, what can I do, Goose and Marty both down in the same week ... just happy that things have come out as well as they did.

Yeah, both were lucky. I think that Gary is about the same age as Commie Nick (RIP) when he bought the farm.

Yep, Commie Nick was 50 years old and sitting on a plane before takeoff when he departed.  He was an awesome friend, and a great guzzi guy.  He lived 2 miles from me in the valley and some of my best times were spent riding, drinking, lying and talking with him. A great friend that cannot be replaced
