Did a little cleaning, and maintenance. and decided to post a few pictures.. I traded my mint 2004 Arprila Tuono for it, and got a little cash too.. Got it from a Member here. (MotoRay) I had it a while now, and I am really starting to like it..Not my style of bike, but even that has grown on me.. It's funny, but I think it's a great bike. because it really is at a place of where all the stars lined up in being simple.reliable, and really fugal to ride..55 mpg was tops, but generally gets 50 MPG on the road.. Give it nice range..
I don't see many 2002 stones in the simple model like this.. One came up on Craigslist close to me, but I just don't think there is a lot around in this layout.. I even like the simple one disk front brake look.. I did trim the back rest off the back, and added a gel pad. Helps a bunch on getting a bit more height the seat.. rode a 500 mile day with it, and it was just fine..
I did check the valves yesterday, and found out the powder-
769255030759coat/paint on the inside of the covers were bubbling some.. I am guess it was factory? No matter, just soda blasted it off, and hit the outside cover, because it was a gloss black. It was repainted there, and now looks much better..(had a repair, before it got the protectors it has now..
