Are you cheap? Lazy? Need new tires? Own a Griso?
« on: July 22, 2016, 08:38:29 PM »
I did pull the wheels off myself so not totally lazy.  Somewhere in the cheap/lazy sweet spot.

Cycle Gear stores will mount and balance tires purchased from them for $25 each.

Cycle Gear Shinko Raven Tire set    $173.80 delivered.

That plus tire disposal fee and tax ran the bill to approximately $230 for two tires.

While I had the wheels off I put on some HH brake pads for the front (HH pads come stock on the rear).

Handling, braking, now much improved for JDelv track day on Monday:  http://streetskills.net/

Not lazy but I bought a NoMar and have tires delivered to my door for easily 30% less than any local shop. Can change then when I want and or need them changed. I  also change them for friends for $20 (or beer) per wheel bring them in off the bike. Tire disposal is easy as any tire shop will take then for $2 per or bulk trash will take 8 per trip free.

Nope but most offer free rim scratching service.
