Any thoughts on Valtec mufflers?

Saw the falters on Harper's site good price they say they are compatible with the Jackle so I assume they would work on my 04 Cali. Any thoughts or wisdom on quality and fuel maps required?

Do a search (upper right hand corner) on "Valtek mufflers" to see several posts on them.

They are, or maybe were, great: solid construction, great sound, good looking, good chrome.

Unless a new batch has been made (and it doesn't sound promising that one will be), they are no longer available (as of the Ides of March, last year).

But by all means order one or contact Harpers to get put on the list of those who want one (as I have). Maybe they'll make more.

I had a set once, very solid well built, nice sound.. they don't upsweep but on the right bike they look great.
