Street Skills & Revzilla - a little Guzzi press too
« on: August 18, 2016, 06:04:33 AM »
As many of you know already one of our very own (Jon DelVecchio - I believe username Jdelv) teaches a rather unique and effective real world experienced rider training course called Street Skills.

Cam coordinated with him for what amounted to basically a private Guzzi and friends track day last month.

Here's my coverage of it for Revzilla's Common Tread:

EXCELLENT write-up Kev.  Smart move making Jen the cover girl.  If any other "old dogs" here (or pups) are interested, we'd like to do this again next year.  It's like a Guzzi rally with a built in track day!  Highly recommended.

Well-written, entertaining, informative. With Guzzi content. What's not to like?  :afro:

So Kev, if we mention your name during a purchase from Revzilla does the price go down or up?

Second question is if I mention your name every purchase I make is it good or bad

Really well written, sir.  Great report.
As I mentioned to Cam at the WNY Guzzi rally Jon is a good friend.  I've attended several of his classroom sessions and have a private booked for this fall.  I knew you folks would have a great time-hope I can make it next year.

Thanks Kev.  It was my pleasure hosting the event and meeting some of you face-to-face finally!

If the Guzzi community can come up with 20-25 riders we could make it an official all-Guzzi event.  It just takes a little planning and commitment.

Hopefully the article speaks for itself, but I can't say enough about the experience. I'm sure much of that has to do with Jon, and the location, but equally the people Jon used as coaches and the types of people that the Guzzi group attracts helped to make the positive atmosphere and experience.

We should definitely strive to have such an experience again and open it to more Guzzi riders and friends.

That looks like a lot of fun indeed...enjoyed the write up and the story telling.  NJ is a long ways away for a track ride...but what a hoot it would be to have 25 Guzzi's all on the track at the same time!
