I read this blog last night and go sucked in. Got to the last post where he digs into the transmission and then the story ends. Total cliffhanger. Anyone know what happen to the rest of the story or have heard of this guy?

So it was a typo, more likely the sentence wasn't descriptive enough. It was only a blog, not an encyclopedia!

So anyone in Seattle know who this guy is? Of course at this point we don't know if he ever made it back to the PNW. I assume he might be known in the VME circles. I'll try there next.

Funny how his Profile is empty...

and being from the Seattle area, Dave and crew must know who he is... even using the Guzziology, ok Guzziologist heading...

I do like the fact that he painted the rear brake hubs so that the color would show through the Rostyle wheels on the MGB...

Maybe a typo , but he stated in no uncertain terms that "the entire motorcycle only weighed 99 lbs". If he wants to be taken seriously , some basic editing is in order .

Oh , anyone know if a certain ex member of WG from the Minneapolis area has relocated to the PNW ?

It seems like there are a lot of people from Oregon on the forum, but I haven't spotted many from Seattle. Maybe I don't know where to look.

I've made it my mission to find out who wrote this, hunt them down and force them to tell me the rest of the story. Can I get you guys to provide an alibi in case it gets ugly? (kidnapping, extortion, things like that?)

Tks for the link, it was an excellent read,,, brought back memories of my challenges getting my CX100 home 4 yrs ago. His description of his excitement in diving into the bike is contagious,,, I have an old G5 that I'm having a hard time cracking the first nut on,,,, this article definitely is helping with my momentum.
