Just last week I checked and adjusted them, they were still 6-8 as they were 3000kms ago when I checked last, but this time I set to 5-7, the reduction in valve train noise is quite noticeable! Craig
Some guys have tried insulating the inside of the valve cover with rubber. Don't know exactly what but inner tube comes to mind.
Let's see who's bike blows up first!

Locate a set of blake valve covers for The Roundheads they do work they're hard to find but they do quiet the noise down and you can maintain the correct clearance. Used them on the Eldo for over 250kTOMB
