Bloody young hooligans out on high power sportsbikes, tearing up the place. Jails too good for 'em.

That's a cool photo Chuck. Just take care on the damn thing please.

Our mate Johnny the sheep Fu(k&r died on one, hard to forget, never can actually.

Not the bike's fault of course and superstitious isn't a good look. Never could look at a Ford Falcon XP after my grandparents drove one under a train either.

Sorry bout that. You look really cool mate.

I'm not going to say a thing, that could have been me a few times.  In fact, it was in NE CO a couple of years ago.  Fortunately, I got away with just a warning ticket.  I was only nine over, when he clocked me.  It could have been a bit worse, if we had met earlier.

Have fun at the rally Chuck.  I'll look forward to seeing you and Dorcia down the road someplace.

And, ride safe, and just a bit slower.

Flash back to a faster youth Chuck?      I haven't had a ticket on a bike in years.  Too busy working to ride.  There you go!!!  Come out of retirement, get a job, then you won't have time to ride and get tickets!!!! :police: :undecided:  Or just consider the occasional award the price of admission to the amusement park with the best rides.  Have fun, laugh, and enjoy.  Another great story for your riding memoirs. :thumb:

Matt, I'm fully aware that I'm on borrowed time.  I'll take each day as it comes and enjoy every one. Wouldn't want the guy I'm borrowing it from to think I didn't use it well..

I got 2 in matter of hours in CO my last trip (Red Lodge).  Pretty dumb in my case.  I blame it on not riding for a long spell then kicking my bike out of my pickup in Salida and taking off.

After texting my wife my bad fortune, she goes, "TWO, by the same cop?".

Chuck,

Where do you buy the fake drivers license that flat out lies about your age? I want one so I can get an oldest rider award.

Geez Chuck... Scuras are supposed to be stealthy. What's with the "notice me" jacket?  Maybe a change of clothes for your next cannonball run?

Have you attended traffic school recently? I have a double-doctorate in traffic school.

  Several years ago, the Kid and I showed up at traffic school on the same night..
That said, I don't make it a habit of getting tickets. This was an unusual one.. long story.

Thanks. The officer has a good eye. I think I'll hang it in the Guzzi Garage. (tm)

Good seeing you, too. Pretty good haul for you. :)
Yeah, it didn't start when I was ready to leave. I don't have bags on it, so had stuff tied on. I was real proud of how nicely I'd packed. :) We'd had a really heavy dew, and when I punched the button all I got was racheta racheta racheta. Thought, WTF? One more time. Same same. Crap. Sinking feeling. Pulled my earplugs, and the fuel pump wasn't priming. Untied the Clampett luggage, pulled the seat and went for the fuel pump fuse. Looked fine, so I stuck it back in and wiggled it around. Ahh, fuel pump's running. Tied everything back on and blasted off. When I got home, I pulled the fuses and relays and did the DeOxit thing. Apparently the chicken wasn't used to getting wet..

Same thing happened to me last Saturday, Stupid Racer. My officer was also very pleasant, and I "thought" I was going to be let off but he did at least knock the ticket down.
