From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

Cripes!  I'd give my 1st born for that bike.
Of course I've not seen her or her mother in 36 years - - - but you get my drift.  Green is good.  R3~

I've a friend in the UK who had one for sale. It may well be still on the market.

Sorry - have some other photos, but the internet connection is playing up. It's a stunning resto job.

This beautiful example was ridden from SOCAL to our annual N.A.R. gathering in Cottonwood in 2015, and belongs to the infamous and legendary Bob Dickman! :thumb: :1:

This stunning "nut & bolt" restored example was seen at the New Mexico Rally in Datil in 2013, and was restored by a Guzzi enthusiast (?) in Texas.

It was flawless and reportedly sold for over $15,000! :thumb:  :1:

You da man Jim.  Got quite the collection of rare Tonti bikes.   Yea, I'm jealous as hell.

Trade anything away for it?

Thanks Cam,

I parted with a 1973 4LS Eldorado and a 850T that was destined to become a 750S clone, but once I found a real 750S the wind went out of the sails on that project. New owner will build the ultimate 750S clone, looking forward to seeing it come to life.

Most likely the closest anyone will come today to buying a 1000S off the showroom floor.  Amazing!

Well that is exactly why I did the deal with Jim, too nice for me to use. I would not want to alter it or damage it for fear of ruining something that is truly magnificent, that is someone else's job now. I would rather have something more functional from my point of view, and I did find that with this deal. Everyone is happy with the arrangement and that is truly all that matters. DonG

Don,
Are you the original owner? If so, I don't know how one keeps a bike for 23 years and puts so few miles on the bike. Glad you did, but it must have been tough.

No , I purchased this one from an acquaintance who a year or two ago bought it from the original owner, story was he purchased the bike new and took a trip, then parked it, was on display in a shop likely from 94 or so on. DonG
