As opposed to cheap American junk . Tom old man , I agree , although in this instance it seems maybe it wasn't meant as a racial slur , or let's at least hope not .

That is unless he meant the South China seas one.   Which isn't what he meant.     Using race as an adjective is racial especially if it has a negative tone.  Is there any hint of where the parts are from? frame?  Unfortunately, a big assumption is that everyone that post on this forum is white.  Which is not the case.

Well maybe , although I am REALLY glad that the new Indians seem to a quality product

Seriously , if we parse this out , there is some cheap Chinese made stuff , not because of a lack of capability , but because of demand for , well , cheap crap .

AND , no , we aren't all Caucasian , or men , or any other particular type or group . What we are is a tribe of motorbike nut jobs

It is a discussion forum and without someone saying something then folks wouldn't know.  Soooooo.....without clarification from Ncdan, we have to go on content alone.

They're popular around here among those who have lost their licenses for driving under the influence, so it makes sense to allow those people to drive a moped without a license, so they can get to work.  At least it makes sense from that standpoint.

Better plan on using the bus, a taxi, or a bicycle in Virginia - There's no more legal "Dewies" here.   If you're suspended for DUI you can't operate ANY motor vehicle on the roads including a sub-50cc moped ....

Not sure even the Dewies have all gotten the message yet though ...

Yeah, Heaven forbid you'd have to power the vehicle with leg muscles.

Same in Arkansas.  A couple years ago, they updated the laws.  DWI convicts who have suspended or revoked licenses cannot operate any motorized vehicle on public roads, even 49cc scooters.  So, the "Liquor Cycle" loophole is gone.
