Hey Mike.

At $5k I doubt price is your issue and you are just dealing with a very small market plus the end of the riding season (for some).   I'd just keep at it.

Like George says, it will sell. It just may not sell quickly. Ever thus...

I would not feel bad.  There is a 2013 model just above yours for $5k and it has not sold either.

The bad news is I bought mine new in 2011 at peak price and not worth squat at this time. The good news is that is irreleveent since I will probably not try to sell or trade it for many years to come if ever.

I think you're in the ballpark.  I live in Westchester and have been looking for a sport-touring/commuting bike, and so far, I've looked at a 2002 R1150RT with 24k for $4000 and a 2011 Triumph Sprint GT with 22k for $5500.  For a well-kept bike with the Givi rack/case, I think $5000 is a fair ask.

How is the Norge as a daily rider?  Do the side bags hold a full-faced helmet?

There's a dealer in Pleasantville, NY, but they are brand new, and there's Hamlin in Bethel, CT -- not so worried about working on it, but ready availability of parts etc. is important on a commuter.  That's the only reason I've been leaning toward a FJR or Connie.

My Norge is a great daily rider.  Either side bag or my top case will hold a full face helmet.
Parts availability has not been a problem.  Most anything can be delivered via UPS within a few days.
