California rear lights

Hi I have just purchased a 2013 California 1400 so for i have found 2 problems 1 the heated grips are not working. 2 The rear lights are not working in full only the bottom third are lighting up i have been into the menu and it is showing that they should all be on ? looking forward to your advice Jeff

IIt doesn't seem to have tail lights, at least I can't see them in the Legend  :shocked:

Actually 20 and 21 are the tail light, it seems to be divided into two, I suspect the park light (gray/yellow wire) and the running light (green/yellow wire), one of the circuits must have a fuse blown or turned off
The red and blue wires are L&R indicators

It's possible the heated grips and tail light share the same fuse.

Start by checking all the fuses at 62, refer to the legend in your owners handbook but if it's still under warranty call the dealer, it's likely something they know about.

I'm pretty sure the tail light function is only the lower part of the lights.

Brake and Turn will light the rest.

Thanks for the info about lights that is that one sorted
just need to sort the heated grips

Grips are sorted now it was a bad connection on the fuse  :laugh:
