Caliper bolt torque - California Touring
« on: October 31, 2016, 05:41:47 PM »
I' ve searched the forum for the previous conversations regarding shimming the calipers to alleviate low speed front brake pulsations and cant locate them.  I cant find the torque spec in my shop manual either.  Anyone out there with the magic number?  Seems like I remember being between 25 and 35 ft pounds but I dont want to overdo it.

Hey, wait a minute, can I get in on this? Is there a magic shim I can purchase someplace ? What did I miss ?

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Brembo shims that came from a parts supplier on the internet.  Can't remember the name at the moment but there was a thread a while back.
