I think it's "Supp old dude"

I had a kid that was next to me at a gas pump while filling his GSXR and wearing his Rossi look alike duds look at me and say that. (was on my beemer)

I replied in my best Texas drawl " smile when you say that partner".

End of conversation.

Yeah, Kirby is hyper sensitive about his real age..........but if you are with him and older than him, he'll remind you in a playfull way.

There is this small suburb just south of me. You get pulled over, your going home with a ticket.

One of their officers is going to prison for manslaughter after shooting someone with a taillight out.

They target minorities and poor looking peeps.

For me, telling the truth has been the key to a perfect 46-year driving record.

I've gotten three speeding tickets in that time.   I never tried to talk the summonsing officer out of the ticket, just stayed calm and quiet.

Each of the three times I've gone to court, the same thing has happened:

1) The judge asks "How do you plead?"   I say "Not Guilty, your honor - I have a calibration", or "Guilty, your honor".

2) The judge asks the officer what happened.   He tells what happened.

3) The judge looks at me and says "Do you have anything to say or add?"   I say "No, your honor; that is an accurate description of the event".

4) The judge asks the bailiff for my driving record.   The bailiff flips pages until he gets to 1970, and says "Your honor, this man has nothing on his driving record back to 1970."

5) The judge says "Well, we're not going to sully that kind of record for 13 over the limit.   Dismissed!", bang goes the gavel, and nothing goes into the record ....

This WORKS because everyone else in the courtroom who has been up before me (before "S" in the alphabet) has been Lying like a Big Dog, telling stories that the very cats in the street would never believe, contradicting the police officer, and making my-wife-she, my-dog-it excuses for whatever behavior they're in for, and the judge is tired of hearing it all .....

This relates to your "clean driving record" bit. My ex wife's grandfather of 92 years old had recently purchased a new car and decided since he hadn't been in an accident in the 76+ years he had been driving he'd never needed the insurance he carried he opted to drop it on his new car except the required "liability'. Sure enough the first weekend of driving it he was at fault in a fender bender and was ticketed. When he came before the judge the judge said : I'm looking at your previous driving history and am I correct in seeing that you have not had a ticket in over 76 years?" Grand Pa replied that that was correct. Judge says "Well with that kind of record I believe we can over look this one for the time being and if you don't get another one in the next 76 years, God willing, it will be expunged from your record, you can go now. And if there is anyone else in my courtroom who hasn't had a ticket in 76 years, you may go now also." Left everyone in the court room laughing.
