Breva engine parts needed asap
« on: January 12, 2017, 11:08:04 PM »
I'm "Converting" an 09 Breva engine for trike duty.  I'm short the fuel injection group, coils/wires, those spark plug wire cover in the valve cover, and a guzzidiag cable.

I have NEW Breva alternator/timing cover group and flywheel/clutch group to trade as well as old loop stuff.  PM or answer here.

I have those parts from a 2002 V11 LeMans. I don't know if any are compatible. I know the plug wire is not the same - but maybe the coils at least would be compatible.

I've got the same stuff.  Intake flanges don't interchange and this is a dual-plug head.

I didn't mean to say that ALL I have is parts to trade.  I have a couple of scowling presidents in the stash, too.  So tell me what you have in 1200 parts I can use!

I got pretty much nothing David, sorry, not even a pair of coils .

The plastic lead covers aren't expensive. By the injector group do you mean the whole lot? TB's, manifolds, injectors, boots and airbox, the lot or just certain parts?

TB's come up often enough on the Bay of Fleas but make sure they haven't been messed with.

Thanks for looking, Pete.  Yes, not the airbox, but everything downstream would be nice.  If the 1200 intakes slip into 1100 rubber boots, I could maybe get by with just intake runners.  I think any 1100/1200 from the vintage onward might be a match -- please correct me if I'm wrong.

If the dual-plug coils are the same as the Vintage I might have that covered.

I think I have the correct guzzidiag stuff ordered this time.

Any idea on how to vent the case once I toss the timing cover?
