Just looking for trouble, I guess.

When Kawasaki designed their new Voyager for 2009, they looked to 1950s Chevrolet cars for inspiration.

When Polaris designed the first faired Indian model, the Chieftain, for 2014, they looked to classic locomotives for inspiration.

When Moto Guzzi designed their MGX-21 for 2017, they seem to have looked to the electronic eye from War of the Worlds for inspiration.

All kidding aside, I think it's a lovely motorcycle. Even though I find the fairing to be a polarizing styling element, it is growing on me.

I think the Ducat 999 is the locomotive:

The 999 and the original Multistrada were both polarizing designs, to say the least.

I like some of the dashes they have made that goes directly to an old car dash.

Kind of a cross between a locomotive and an electric shaver
