The nicest thing about owning a 2V Norge is....you don't actually NEED another bike. You may WANT them...but you don't NEED them...
Damn thing should nearly sell itself. Dunno why every man and his dog wants 8 valves, just buy two '09 bikes! Although that being said, I've never ridden an 8V, (perhaps best I don't). I recently had a Beetle map installed by Roper and I asked if he wanted to ride my bike to feel it, he declined and said "it's your bike, you know it better", truth be told I would have liked to have ridden the Roper Griso, but maybe I woulda' then felt dissatisfied with the "old" Red '07. He could probably do a lap of his kitchen table on mine and "know" it better than I do. Dear old thing though, I was quietly proud how it aquitted itself against the Green Griso in a straight line belting, honours shared up to 160 k's.
I was one gear at least higher than you when you decided to turn up the wick. took me a few seconds to wake up. You also weigh probably 30kg less than me so it wasn't really a *Fair* comparison.Pete
I think your FIRM price is what scare a potential buyer ... maybe a " slightly negotiable" will sound better. In the end it is winter , you need to find a guzzi guy in your area that really want a norge and pay your firm price . ( like winning the lottery )good luck , and please post pictures of the bobber/chopper with apes and king and queen seat .
It's either FIRM at rock bottom price with no hassle or haggle, OR$5,200 "negotiable", OBO, ...I'd rather deal with the former as a buyer or seller, especially with this crowd. Christ, there's another thread where a guy wants us to GIVE him parts so he can build a motorcycle.
