If it has tentacles, it qualifies (in my book) as "A Bad Meal", I don't care what their intentions were!!

I don't see any tentacles in the top right photo, only vongole.
Small, lovely clams. :thumb:

A close look at the full-size image on imagebb shows there are suckers on those 'clams'. Looks to me like octopus, a popular dish throughout the Mediterranean...

Delicious when prepared "Italian" style.  Even sea urchin gonads with olive oil as a dip with bread.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉

I usually like Limoncello after a big, distending meal, but a friend told me to try Amaro Montenegro, so I did, and I liked it! :thumb:

The Greeks also make Octopus this way...sauteed in a little olive oil with lemon.

In Japan, it's call "Tako" and is also quite good as is the squid...."Ika in Japan, and of course, Calamari in Italy! :thumb:

You should try it sometime!

This to make Lannis sicker.  Ika and tako are also snack foods.  Smoked sliced tako and/or dried ika seasoned with honey & cayenne with beeru Sapporo.  Oishi!   :thumb:

I guess sashimi or Hawaiian poke is out of the question.

Octopus tentacles, raw uncured fish, baluts, and non-aquatic insects are off my list (as a matter of fact that sounds a bit like the Leviticus "kosher" list).

I guess that the edgiest stuff I have enjoyed are badger tenderloins, squirrels (we kill and eat a lot of those), smoked cured salmon, cured uncooked ham, and pickled chicken livers.

So I can be talked into stuff.   But scorpions, unhatched chicks, centipedes, and octopods ... no.   Not unless I hadn't eaten for about 3 weeks ....
