Where is that shot of the Rio Grande?

Santa Elena Canyon, half of which is in Big Bend National Park.  The other half (left side of the photo) is in Mexico, of course.

 Thanks , that's what I thought , but have shown a distinct lack of ability to identify locations  :rolleyes:

Thanks for the photos. Brings back memories. I used to canoe down the Guadalupe river with my Dad in the early/mid sixties.

will you settle for a somewhat interesting storm-downed tree nearby, also in the town of Balmorhea?  Otherwise, I didn't take a shot of the pool...
