I say make your own bobber out of something old and rough. There's nothing to a bobber. Trying to emulate one with fake carbs and such seems a little disingenuous. Bobbers are sort of beaters with ones personality attached.

kevdog, put my personality into it?  I think Honda already made that bike.  I won't something turnkey that looks old timey but runs on modern gear with modern lack of maintenance.

Wonder of wonders.  The Triumph salesman made a follow up call to me today.  In the past few years I've been to several dealerships to look at and ride bikes, and a couple of times with checkbook in hand to purchase.  One time the price was higher than I wanted to pay, another, the bike was already sold, and another, it wasn't the right bike for me.  Never heard back from any of them, most never even took down my name and number.  I'll be heading back to the Truimph dealership when my ordered parts come in next week.

Triumph is certainly making some scrumptious machinery these days...the Triples especially get my blood moving! Hope you find one to call your own...
