I love the one about the frog. If you (cruelly) drop a frog in warm water he'll understand it's bad for him and jump out, if you put him in cold water and begin to turn up the heat, he'll stay in there 'till he dies. The deteriorating conditions become the " new normal" and seem like it's all ok...

I've never ate boiled frog, but I know fried frog legs are pretty tasty!
