Got in a quick ride before the rain begins
« on: April 03, 2017, 11:59:49 AM »
Short 80 mile round trip ride this morning .... all two lane, out east of here.  Testing my headlight repair .....hopefully the repair to the H4 bulb clip holder will stand up to engine vibes and less than perfect road conditions.  Small coffee and biscotti at the Coffee Corner, and a quick ride home ahead of the rain that is forecast to hit in the next 25 minutes or so.  Nice morning, about 60F when I got back home.

GS in Burton for a coffee stop

2014 Honda CB1100 (Traded Nov 2019)
New:  2016 Triumph T120 (Traded Dec 2021)

AND the strength came back OK I see. If you only put 2gal in the tank it's a lot less top heavy.

Yo, Steve ... good to hear from you.  Hope things are going well in Georgia.  Re strength, I'm not Charles Atlas, but I think strength, plus balance, has returned over the past 6-8 months.

The rain held off long enough for me to garage the Beemer, and take the 1200 Sport out for 30 or so miles.  She is one good running machine!

Later,

Bob

Thought I was gonna see the new CB1100 in the photo, but the BMWs need exercise too!

Yeah, yesterday was a nice day for a ride . . . but I spent the day sitting in a room full of potential jurors at the county courthouse. Trust me, they don't want MY kind on a jury

I got a ride in on Sunday. The rain caught me about 15 miles from home. It was a nice day for a windshield and splash-guards...
