question is do you repair your own bike? can you you twist a wrench? can you fix it yourself? riding is one thing but maientince is another. I cant afford to go to a shop very often so I do everything my self from tires to motor changes.

There was a time that I was an aircraft mechanic (A&P) and did all the maintenance on bikes and cars. Replaced transmissions, changed head gaskets. But I find as I am getting older.......the only thing I want to do is change oil and the easy valve check on the Guzzi. I still change my own tires but everything else will go to a shop.
