Anyone know the size of the barb fittings to screw into the vacuum taps on the intake manifold and a source to buy these online?
Thanks............. Tim

You got vacuum taps? On my '72 Eldo I had to drill and tap the manifolds and add my own.
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

If your hearing is good.  Take a length of 1/4" hose about 2'.  Your engine is at operating temp.  Take air filter/s off.  Start bike.  At idle.  Put one end of hose at edge of carb mouth, other end on edge of ear.  Listen.  Check other carb.  Adjust carb to match airflow.  Adjust idle up or down.  If using the intake barbs.  No need to take air filter off.  Will you use a gauge/s?

Yes , I have the vacuum taps and homemade gauges. Hearing probably not up to par, although I did hear a gnat fart the other day.
I was amazed at myself......first startup in 30 years after the complete engine rebuild last year, and it started right up. Will need to se timing and sync carbs before test ride.......maybe next week?

Thanks for the size....will now search online

After you adjust everything, a simple way of checking the timing is to get the bike to operating temperature.  Shut bike down.  Lightly stab the starter button.  If it starts easily, I wouldn't mess with it.  Your idle speed needs to be where it's just flickering the generator light on & off.  That's the easy shade tree way.

Of course if you're OCD     then the gauges and timing light are the way to go.  :thumb:

Other Guzzi owners in the area.  John down in Sagle.  He has a Jackal.  He use to work on older Euro bikes and had an older Eldo like yours.  There's the forum owner that bought the V7 Sport in Caldwell and is restoring it in Colville.  There's also a lemon yellow LeMans III nearby that was mine.  I kept my SP1000NT at John's in Sagle.  Pam and Ron use to be the Northern ID reps. for the Owners club.  Bill and Cheryl down in Deary have 3 Guzzis.  One of their friends has an EV.

There are a number of regional rallies coming up.  Broken Spoke in ID and Deep Forest Campout in WA.

:thumb:  I've stored different Guzzis in his garage over the years.  Good possibility, I'll bring my SP back up there.  It's in PHX with another friend that use to live in Hawaii.
