I had a great time. A lot of 'corporate knowledge' was available and shared. I also got a few hundred miles on the new bike. I have to admit that my expectations of "good handling, for a cruiser", that a few articles had proffered, were very low. Then, after a few hours in the great twisty mountain roads, I realize that the 1400 does very well in the curves, much better than I had expected. You get a good bit of lean, before the floorboards touch down, and a bit more, before the hard bits stop your lean. While she isn't as nimble as my Multistrada, she did very well, earning some surprised respect. This bike is continuing to impress me.
