The New Horse in the Barn
« on: August 09, 2017, 09:09:20 AM »
Okay, boys.  I wanted you to hear it here first.  I'm selling my Stelvio.

It's listed several places, including Ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Moto-Guzzi-Stelvio-NTX-/122638960657?hash=item1c8dda0811:g:ICYAAOSw4bBZixL5&vxp=mtr

If anyone here has interest, please let me know.

You'll be ssoorrryyy! LOL. I traded my 2016 Stelvio in on a V9 Bobber a month ago, but I missed it so much I bought it back (and kept the Bobber, too).

Hope you get your price. I thought (briefly) about selling my 13 with 34K miles on it but figure Id only realistically get about $6500. Decided its a keeper because I just couldn't stand to give away such a great bike so just added to my stable instead of replacing a bike.

I'll be shopping in mid-September, and I need an excuse to visit my aunt in Pass Christian. If it's still on the market then, I'll keep it in mind!

I had the Stelly for over 5 years and was ready for something new.

Guzzi is not offering a new Stelvio.

This is my 5th or 6th GS.

Thanks for courteous and helpful people I've met on this forum.

I'll check back on WG every once in a while....

Still have the NF and the 850 LM :)

Both may go on the block too before long....

Nice !!!  Also, it appears to be the world's first levitating GS !!!  Don't see a center stand down nor the side stand down... yet she is upright and proud...

the new Beemers are real hot rods. The water cooled bike is definitely a step ahead power-wise.

I might caution about the front strut however, my brother bought a 6 GTL with extended warranty.  The strut was squeaking and BMW is now doing a $3k job replacing it. Don't know the history or the carry over to your bike.  Just some info.
