Setting up the swing arm...
« on: August 14, 2017, 08:19:53 AM »
AFTER I removed It to replace trans seals........of course the manual says to index the pivot pins so as to put them back set correctly...i didnt read the manual until after I removed everything....Do I have to re set or re center the swing arm...I cant find anything on how to do this....Am I over thinking this and just get any slack out or do I need to measure clearances or align the swingarm somehow??   Tnx
Sorry. '01 Jackal...

Count the number of threads on the pins. Put it back. You want a slight amount of tension when you put it back.
Or use a vernier caliper to measure the depth on them. They should go back to the same depth.
