Jim Walker here,owner of the red Norge with the bent front rim...I hit a VERY deep pothole pulling out of the gas station Friday morning on a breakfast ride. I looked left for traffic and when I looked back right I had drifted a couple of feet and was about a foot from this bottomless black hole,no time to correct,smashed the rim against the edge of the pavement, trip over...I have been riding since I was 19, 63 now, hundreds of thousands of miles on all kinds of bikes...as I like to say when FUBAR strikes, I just had to push that big red pulsing FOOL button!!! Thanks to Curt,Jerry,Jimmy,Mike, and most of all Enzo who took a wheel off a used Norge he just got at his shop,brought it to the rally and made it possible for me to ride over 400 miles home! THANK YOU ALL!!!!!
