Evap can removal and hose plugging

Hello.
I have a 2021 V7. It has about 400 miles on it now. I haven’t had the first service check with the ECU update yet. I experience what others have described as the hiccup. I’ve been reading about the evap can removal and plugging the hoses. I wanted to see if there is a step by step or a YouTube video on removal and plugging. Thanks.

I also experienced that issue when installing full exhaust Guzzi tech pipe .When I removed evap canister and installed exhaust I immediately ran extremely rich and also got a check engine light. For an additional $ 500.00 Guzzi tech will reflash the ECU .After paying $ 1349.00 I think they should offer ECU mod as part of their price .I am now back to stock exhaust . No check engine light .Success . I have changed my focus to suspension to help me ride to full potential of bike . K Tech rear shocks and fork springs from Race Tech .Big difference .My next chore is to have foam changed on seat .Stock seat compresses too much and feels like I'm riding with no seat cushion at all .I'm a rider that weighs only 175 lbs. I have exhaust system on ebay item number 26537992528 .$ 650.00 is half of original retail cost. Nice pipe will require resetting UCU .

I pulled the hoses off the canister and plugged the small one by screwing in a tight-fitting bolt. Let us know how it goes. If your bike's like mine, you'll notice the difference immediately.

Thank you 👍. I will review the link you posted. My basic understanding so far is I can leave the can and hoses and simply plug the hoses. I plan on looking into it this week I’ll post what I fix (or mess up)
For the classic VW crowd, my new V7 rides like a bug with a 009 distributor instead of a vacuum advance.

Leave the big hose open, plug the small hose. You might spring the bracket and finagle the canister out without unbolting anything, mine came out from the right hand side, if I remember correctly.

Hmm, a touch confused. Is the big hose the one going into the center of the canister? I see two hose connections: 1) into the center 2) other connection is off to the side
Maybe I will read the thread before I ask more questions.

It was all a bit confusing early on, figuring out which hose went where and did what. I just followed the discussion and waited til the smarter folks sorted it out. Once you get the hoses off the canister you'll see the difference in the inside diameter. The big hose is the tank vent, leave it open. Plug the other hose. I used a bolt that took a good bit of effort to screw in.

A little follow up:
Pretty straight forward removing the canister hoses. Once the hoses are off you need to plug or cap off the smaller inner diameter hose. I used some aviation sealant with a bolt screwed it then rubber tape wrapped around the end- a little over kill, I know. I then zip tied the hoses to the frame. I left the canister in place.
Outcome: oh yeh! Throttle response is immediate. No hiccups or hesitation. Really worth doing.
