Ride report-shake down cruise
« on: February 25, 2018, 05:03:07 PM »

The rains are all off to the east and I got the old bike all back together. Made a few upgrades over the winter.

Sent the seat off to Sargent, I'm really happy with the quality of the stitching. Time will tell on the padding, but I think it's going to work out nicely.

Got the wheels powder coated, and new Conti Go tires. The tires seem pretty sticky, but I haven't really put them to the test yet, the price was right <shrug>

Also gave her an overall detail and spit shine, she's ready for 2018 riding season!

Hopefully I can bore you all with some ride reports soon!

When your gonna do a NW Arkansas run, why don't ya give me a shout and I could meet you over there for lunch and a few miles. I need any excuse I can get to ride the Ozarks! John made me do it, honest. Yeah that'll work.
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!
