Some inspirational January sunrise photos from Arizona...
« on: January 09, 2018, 04:43:36 PM »
Taken Monday morning on my way to work in Chandler, AZ.  Temperatures during the day have been in the high-60's to low 70's...January in "The Valley of the Sun" is usually very pleasant compared to the rest of the country...  :thumb: :1:

However, don't forget what happens in June-July-August...and beyond..."The Forbidden Planet" summers! - - - and they get HOTTER every year!!

 Very nice JJ  :thumb:

Now , about those high temp Summers , Oklahoma holds the record for high temps over an entire month for the U.S. We averaged 89.5 F across the state 24/7 in July of 2011 . So stop complaining  118 F with 30% humidity is just awful

Yes, my son...  ...I am just stating the facts of..."The Forbidden Planet" summers in AZ.

I personally have RIDDEN (many times....) in 110-115 degree temperature with a full-coverage helmet and gear...and I can attest it is no picnic...    If fact, without proper hydration...it can be downright dangerous!!
