A motorcycle that has earned the term 'Patina'
« on: January 24, 2018, 04:24:16 PM »
1919 Indian Power Plus, an honest 99 year old well earned patina, not the overused description of some 30+ year old lump of neglected motorcycle on Craigslist assumed to be a classic

https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/mcy/d/1919-indian-power-plus/6470627246.html

Wouldn't it be great to potter around on this!

This is where you'll learn the term "engine braking".  The coaster rear brake will surely stop the bike.....eventually .

Wouldn't it be great to run across the country with a whole crowd of new friends "racing" your way from Portland Maine to Portland, Oregon?

Perhaps not...the flex tube is welded to a pipe stub with an extension piece that appears bolted to the head..

But will it make it up and back down the Dempster? Travel partner for a Falcone?
