Cool! At 19 bucks a disc that makes the old 14 ft disc in my bone yard worth about $800. Never thought of that as a use for disc blades.

If it ends up not cooking well it will make fine sounds being hit at 300 yards with a rifle.

That kind of steel, it'll not only make fine sounds but have big holes in it getting hit with a rifle .... !

I hope it works for you.  One of the functions of a hand hammered wok is the sides bear the hammer marks and that helps keep all  the food from sliding down to the bottom.

I would think the disk would work well for stir-fry cooking when there's a little liquid involved.  For fajitas, we use a 1" thick x 22" diameter steel disk I once made for a spinning die.

:thumb:  Take a ball peen hammer and dimple it.   Shopping list.  sesame seed oil, peanut oil, 5 spice, soy sauce (given), white pepper, Ham Ha, Patis, cleaver, star anise, cilantro, scallions, tree fungus, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, garlic & Shitake mushrooms.   Cut veggies and protein on a diagonal.   :thumb:  Maybe some Chinese swear words later.       If you can find Harbin or Tsing Tao beer add that to the shopping list

Sounds good but I'm one of the 25% with the genetics to make cilantro taste like chips of Ivory soap .... so I'll leave it out ..... !

This came up recently while I was getting my hair cut.  I told my barber that I think cilantro tastes like soap, and I love it.  She was a little confused by that.  Even if you love it, I think you'd be crazy to not notice the soap connection.

Next time that Ivory or Tone soap goes on sale at Ollies or Dollar Tree, you're in for some gourmet eatin' .... !

For me, it has to do with the amount. A little cilantro is good, a *lot* tastes soapy to me.

Reminded of the Clyde Crashcup cartoon segment in which he demonstrated that "Soap is good to eat!", I tried to find it,  but was unable.

Thanks!  It's been about 55 years since I saw that.  :)   And now I realize that the quote was actually "Soap is for eating."
