« on: February 09, 2018, 09:36:18 PM »
Andrew Frederick, a young friend of mine from down home, won entry to the show by taking Best MOD Retro at the Cleveland Show with this:

So once he got set up he scoped out the show, & sent me these:

I thought it was interesting how 2 bikes, 2 Guzzi's, that started out so different ended up so similar [in appearance].

I hope he does well - he's got a lot of hours in that little CB....

Thanks, Steve!  Was hoping someone might have some info....  Joe is up around Chi-Town, yes?  So that makes sense.

Andy's quite a skilled young builder, lots of wonderful details on that machine.  I hope he does well.....

Andy's cafe took Runner Up in Modified Retro at the National in Chicago.

Got beat out by a rather odd-looking (at least to my taste) BSA custom.

Word was there may be a Water Buffalo in his future....
