Nowhere near "that time"... (yet)
« on: February 27, 2018, 02:47:32 AM »

However, it's coming at a high rate of knots...
I'm referring to Europe 2019.
A bloke I met in Gothenburg 2014 is competing in a Dakar style enduro in Albania in June 2019. I'll be over there on the Norge and will rendezvous on some date or other to say hi, but other than that will be thrashing around Eastern Europe and hob nobbing with the Romanians and possibly Greeks this time.
I was just reminiscing over my 6 Part trip report from previous Euro jaunts and was reminded of the generous offers of accommodation in U.K., Scandinavia and the like. So on that topic, if anyone wants to do a Nordkapp thing or Russia with a loop down into the Baltic states, I'm nothing if not flexible.
There are a few places now that I know I can turn up with company and will be welcomed in.
I'd really love to have 200,000 on the Norge for Mandello 2021, so given that I usually knock over about 20-25,000 per trip, a good chunk of what's left to do should be attainable.
Giz a yell if you reckon it's something you'd like to do and we can have a little trip from Calais to Nordkapp then down through Central Europe to Sicily.
Or something... :clock: :bike-037:
Oh, and BTW...
I WILL shout the cappuccinos at Calais and the pizzas at Mandello del Lario..

Huzo...what shipping company do you use?  Or the Moto goes by airplane?

I’m contemplating sending the bike over for a bit next year and playing for a couple of weeks.

I now use a company based in Melbourne called Brent's Bikes Abroad. +61 (0)429 494401
I pick mine up in London after being collected at Heathrow, a short 6 mile ride then 1/2 hour later you're on the M 25 heading for Dover...

Oh, that would be fun. You could have subclasses by the weight of junk carried.
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.
