V11 exhaust systems on Sports/Daytonas?

It's my impression V11 exhausts won't fit on 5-speed spineys due to gearbox length; is that right?

I ask as only the miserable Mistral X-style crossover is left for 5-Sp. spineys; no Stucchis. The idea would be V11 headers into a V11 Stucchi on a Sport 11.

 I am not 100% sure. What I will tell you is that a Sporti 1100 Termi system will fit on my 02 LeMans.The only snafu is the crossover to frame or tranny mount.The tab on the six-sp faces the back I think ...for the 5-sp it should be in the front. I think i rigged some sort of mount, but its been a few years.

You will most likely have a few issues with the mounts under the gearbox probably not insurmountable but it won't be a bolt up job. The 1100 sports/ Daytona's Motor and gearbox are offset approx 20mm to the left to get the shaft around the wider rear wheel. The V11's gearbox output shaft is 30mm further out than the five speed so the motor etc is centrally mounted.

i think pipe diameter is slightly different. I know i picked up my spare M4 muffs for the Centauro from someone who bought them for a v11 lemans and they wouldn't fit according to him.

I use a v11 system like you want on my daytona. v11 Headers and a stucci x over with open pipes.
