I wanted to add it was mainly Guzzi bikes, but.. we had a Motus show up, 3 nice R50's (I think) with the rigid like frame with the shocks as well as a few R and K bikes and a small contingent from the HD crowd. Nice combo of bikes!!

.  Just incase someone dosn't know what a Motus is.   An American sport touring  motorcycle based a round the "baby block" V4 push rod motor, 1650 cc making 165 HP and 135 Torque!  They were in business around 2014-2019 approximately.

Mark Etheridge was on of my first Guzzi friends 25 years ago.  He’s the real deal.  Love that guy.

Thanks for the report.  Parts from Mark have been critical to some of my restorations.

It’s difficult to imagine a harder motorcycle to sell than a Motus. Anyone who is sad about the low price they can get for their used Moto Guzzi, should be cheerful they’re not trying to sell a Motus.

Are they a good motorcycle? In theory yes. In reality, the brand didn’t last long enough, or sell enough bikes to really know.

Our local Indian dealer has a couple leftover Motus bikes. No matter what they discount them from MSRP, no one is interested.

You can buy a fantastic used Honda ST 1300 for under $4000. Therefore, what’s the point of a Motus?

It was a great turnout  :thumb:
Fun to rub elbows with all of the other Guzzi nerds and luminaries like Gregory Bender, Dave Richardson, Ed Milich, Mike Haven, etc.

Hmm, not sure if it’s the same, but pretty close.
Similar to my ‘09 Street Triple 675.
