she's back on the road

So, to make a short story shorter, the engine was blowing oil out of the breather vent hose. Some said it was due to overfilling, some suggested a spacer , some a leak down test. No overfilling ( only 2 quarts found in sump) ,spacer in place and modified breather with check valve in place. Leakdown showed air fizzing past the rings. After a quick ( and not inexpensive) <Guzzi content> new Gilardonis, valve guides / top end refresh, she is back on the road. Cheers

Splendid! I like those new rotors and calipers! Upgraded 70-80's Tonti - my preferred type of Guzzi.
Ride on, Bro....

Jeez mate that's beautiful..
That newer braking setup looks as sharp as a tack..
Probably works great too.
Are they linked..?
Now..
Off up the Coast Road you go, for a weekend of "beer and skittles" on your fabulous bike.
(Some bonding required..)
It's beautiful, I could almost be cajoled into a lewd act with her.
Any chance of some Foto Guzzi quality shots...?

Shakedown / rings break in ride was (mechanically) uneventful save the lovely scenery on Highway 1. The brakes are dis- integrated at this time as I am trying to get the 80's Marzocchi 38mm fork to get a bit more supple ( looking into emulators or cartridge internals). 4 Pot Brembos are very gradual in how they bite and a joy to ride with. Thanks for all the comments

Looking good! Also saw recent pics of your SP and Cali...not to mention your 750S tribute; well executed across the board. I'd say you got the right mix of Guzzi twins to cover all bases! Cheers!
