Moto Guzzi was well represented at this weekend's Handbuilt Motorcycle Show in Austin.  Here's some pictures of some of the entries:

With regards to the loopframe chopper-looking Guzzi, doubt the rear drive and U-joint will last long in it's current configuration.

That is, if it's ever actually ridden...

Thanks for posting, I like the 1st one. It’s certainly making the rounds on the internet. I don’t get the fat tyre on the front. Just looks wrong. The chopper? Not even to a dog fight.

Well, that's the thing, isn't it?   Just rolling it on and off the trailer, the rear drive will probably last for many years.   And that's by far the most likely scenario ....

Went to the show. The Chopper was at Autorama in Houston. Lot's of really neat details but I doubt it has been started. The Turbo V9 is a rodsmith creation. The motard V9 is by Bruce @@@@Iforgot hislast name. The motardV9 is a well done piece of machinery. It has 36mm DelOrto's. Every detail was well done. Just a great bike. The  two V9's are just space takers. I talked to Patrick from Guzzi. Guzzi commissioned the  4 V9's.
He told me the V85 Enduro is probably a go . If it really has 85 HP. It should be a flyer.
Fantastic show. This is my 5th time going to the show.

That V9 was built by Bruce McQuiston of Moto Studio in Miami.

Check out the custom machined Mono-shock swing arm. Those 4 custom bikes were sponsored by Moto Guzzi's corporate "V9 ProBuild" program. It's a productive way for the company to get design input from a diverse group of people.

u-joint will be fine. rear drive will be fine if they put a seal on the front of it.

Is that chopper a hard tail or are those teeny, tiny shocks on the upper struts?

The mushroom holder is a helmet sitting there. The seat has 2 shocks if I remember correctly.
The V9 build program  kinda reminds me of the Ducati's Monster builds. I just hope that Guzzi gets some younger Bike riders soon.
