A fantastic show. I went last year and really enjoyed it.

Norton Commando is the featured marque - 50th anniversary of it's debut.

Anybody from here going?

Man, I'd love to, I'd even ride my Norton Commando to it ... but we've got a long-standing rally down in NC-TN-VA that I haven't missed in 17 years and I don't want to start now, that clashes with this one.   Always a good time and a lot of nice bikes, I hope anyone who CAN go DOES go .... !

Since I generally work at the show I'm biased, but this year is shaping up to be good again - especially if the weather cooperates.  This year my walking is limited so I'll probably be at the registration table much of the day.  It would be nice to have a good number of older Guzzis on the concours field.

I'd like to show my Morini, but since it's an '85, I can't.  I guess it'll be the Convert again this year...

When this event was held in Olney,Maryland some 20? years ago, my Commando got second place in the Norton division. I was getting the trailer ready to head out when they announced the bike, so my wife bounds up there to take the trophy and the praise. I missed her performance which was reportedly entertaining. Unfortunately, I can’t make it this year.
