v7ii sidestand foot?

Hi All,

Got back last night from a week (~1700 miles) of riding the roads and trails of the Adirondacks on my V7ii Stornello. Great fun! One issue however was the Euro-style sidestand sinking in the dirt. I did an internet search and couldn't find a source for a bolt-on sidestand foot for the 40x47x5 mm pad on my sidestand. I have a H-B centerstand so don't use the US stand. Anyone have a lead?

Just an fyi for those with V7 Scramblers/Stornellos. Before I left I replaced the worn-out OEM tires with Shinko 705s (4.10 x 18 front and 130/90-17 rear, both for tubed tires). They worked great on both the pavement and dirt. Not as good as knobbies in the sand and mud, but I didn't expect that. A little vibration when leaned way over on the road, but acceptable. Similar performance to Tourances.

Weld or bolt a larger shoe to the foot.

I keep a scrap or two of plywood in my sidecase, 3/8" to 3/4" thick does a nice job of getting what if feel is a much better, safer lean angle.  I use plywood at home or away.
