guzzi racing at road america

race footage from a couple of weeks ago at road america, not really a "Guzzi" track, it is a heavyweight race so there are a lot more powerful bikes on track. The clutch had fixed itself so I didn't have to do it in a parking lot and I got decent starts. It must have been slipping and "polished" from fouling the brake pivot. When I first thought that might have happened I really thought I was fooling myself, but some times you get lucky!

I was there with several Guzzi buddies. We cheered you on , we were hanging at the bend just prior to the kinck. Great to cheer you on takeing it to the heavyweights!

 Once again I was yelling at the screen  No doubt RA is a horsepower circuit . Are you coming to Hallet anytime soon , I'll bring the entire local Guzzi contingent , and Hallet is a Guzzi track .

A few years back, I took my Ducati to Road America for a track day. It was then that I learned the meaning of the term "ludicrous speed"! The front straight has you climb a hill at w.o.t. after which, you quickly decend then you must get hard on the brakes for a sharp 90 degree right turn.  Surviving that will have you believe in the power of prayer!

that was a third place finish, it was a two wave start so there were other classes running, makes it difficult to tell where you are sometimes!!
