Yep. I know I let my Mille GT go way too cheaply a few years ago, but the price tag on this one is ridiculous.

Oh, I don't know.  I might be willing to part with mine for that price, but I 'd have to think about it.

I just took delivery of mine yesterday, I paid $3900. A pretty nice bike, not perfect, ready to ride. I liked it so bought it, but thought I might be paying a premium...I guess it was a bargain.

I am curious here.  What is the difference between a Mille GT and a Strada?

I am not a Guzzi expert, but curious why some are sought and the others, not so much?  (I won't even ask about a 1000S)

I'm certainly no expert, either, but a quick search on the internet revealed not much difference mechanically - at least the hp & torque specs are identical or at least close, depending on which source you believe.  Wire wheels on the Mille are more desirable, in my opinion, than the cast wheels on the Strada.  The biggest difference seems to be the seat - the Strada seat looks like it would be torture for a passenger in short order & the rider's portion of the seat doesn't look much better.  Desirability is in the eyes of the beholder (i.e. potential buyer) so that is pretty subjective.  It looks to me like the Strada was an effort to "spruce up" the Mille GT visually with more modern bodywork since the somewhat "retro" Mille apparently wasn't selling well (at least in the US).  One source said less than 40 total Stradas were imported to the US, while I've been told 300+ Mille GTs were imported, but I've seen lots more Stradas listed on ebay than Milles.  It appears that the Mille owners tend to hold on to them longer.

In my opinion , other than the skinny forks the Mille is one of nicest  Guzzis going.  But then I'm partial to standard styling.
