Eldo footpeg nut

Does anyone know the size/thread of the nut that holds the front peg (left, although L/R appear identical) on a '73 Eldorado?

Alternatively, I could remove the right side nut and take it to the hardware store, but they aren't all that easy to access, so I would rather not. Hence, I'm hoping for a quick answer if you aren't all out riding this Saturday afternoon.
